THUNDERSTORMS

It was remarkable.

How one moment, the sky is clear and the next is dark as night!

This morning we had a thunderstorm that lasted about half hour.

The only thing I didn’t love about it?

Was the thunder!

I was in drive thru!

It sounded like I was in IMAX with stereo surround headphones!

I nearly had a stroke!

I don’t need that!

We were so busy.

At 1 pm, a gravel truck backed up into a power pole knocking it down. Causing power outage for half the downtown area. Argh!

The smoothie machine was down.

I was on window.

I actually had to do work.

People were not used to seeing that. They had to say something.

“Rebecca, are you doing work?”

“Rebecca, why are you working so much?”

“Rebecca, why are you doing all the work?”

I sighed.

“Because I have to slack tomorrow. I am not going to do any work tomorrow! It’s holiday!”

I replied.

Its a holiday and I have to work!

No rest for the wicked!
