I wonder if anyone still writes love letters. The word being WRITES. Not texts, not emails, but writes!

I think there is alot more thought and action put into writing a letter with pen and paper then composing an email. More deliberation, because one has to think about emotions, feelings, and cursive/printing so the letter could be read.

I was thinking about this lately because I had realised while I was still sorting through my belongings, that the letters my exes had sent me were no longer with me.

They were damaged in the flood. All were ruined. I wasnt sad about it. I mean God knows how long its been since I read any of them, or thought about my exes.

They were like ashes in the wind.

I could care less about them.

I wondered if other women kept their love letters perhaps for memories, for their children.

It is a romantic notion.

    1. Awe now that’s romantic!
A woman can’t help but appreciate the imagery of the words when she can see the care it took to write them. And the selection of paper it is on. Perhaps it is her favorite color, or something else she favors, or something else that reminds her of her lover. The care it takes to write one letter, it is from the heart, she will cherish forever😍💕

  1. I have been able to keep all of my love letters. So sorry you lost yours…even though you seem okay with it. You may recall that post I did “Strawberry Letter 23” where I feature hand-written love letters floating through the video. Hopeless romantic here as well ❤

♥writing was all I had, all I’ve ever had, the only currency, the only proof that I was alive. Memory.♥ each of us has a story to tell. Leave your thoughts. Leave your comments.
