Favorite childhood book? When I was a child I loved Oliver’s Pig. The Witch of Blackbird Pond. I also was guilty of reading Harlequin romances when I got older ~8. Mostly I loved the Bobbsey Twins, Nancy Drew, Encyclopedia Brown. I was obsessed with the Dollangers (VC andrews) Flowers in the Attic was my all time favorite book!

What are you reading right now? nothing. I have to go to the bookstore or go online to find a book

Bad book habit I will not buy a book written in the style of EL James. I find it insulting that authors inspire to be like her. That they want their work to be mommy porn or worse. I also wont buy a book in first person narrative. Well I did use to enjoy VC ANDREWS but the ghost writer was too obsessed with incest.

Favorite book you’ve read this year? an ebook by Estelle Ryan. its called The Gauguin Connection. also Deep Dark by Laura Griffin

Favorite place to read? I used to love reading in bed. Now the only place I find comfortable and relaxing is in the bath. That is where you will find me with a good book! ♥

Favourite cookbook? I dont have one. I watch cooking shows

Favorite fictional character? Oh so many! Hatch, Stark, Harrison and Oliver Raine (jayne ann krentz) Miranda Knight, Noah Bishop (Kay Hooper), kendra,  jon sandell,  (iris Johanson) Bar Cynster, (stephanie Laurens) Kit Pritikin (karen Chance) I can go on but there is so many

Favourite fictional villain gretchen Lowell (chelsea Cain) The surgeon, Samuel Hayes (tess Gerritsen) Beauty Queen Killer, the Hunter, (beverly Barton) and my all time favorite? Abby Maddox and Danni (jennifer Hillier)

I think the best part about reading a book, is how it makes me feel afterward.

If its a romance? How I long for love and relationship. How much I want to be cherished and protected.

If its a mystery? If my heart pounds, if it makes me think I am elated. If they reveal whom the villain is before I can deduce he/she is I am not impressed.

  1. I liked “Spy vs Spy” when I was a kid. No words! I’ve been reading Kindle books by local authors (I take a big chance on these). My favorite series is the Inspector Erlendur series by Arnaldur Indridason (Icelandic). I like to read on the couch with lots of cats on me. I use Fine Cooking Magazine for most receipes, but then there’s my wife’s grandmothers 195o Betty Crocker’s Picture Cook Book that’s good with lots of colorful cultural details from the past. My current favorite fictional character is Inspector Erlendur. Don’t really have favorite villains that I can think of right off hand. Perhaps Odin in American Gods.

  2. This was fun to read! I often find myself reading ‘new’ authors on my kindle. Many of my FB friends are authors. Great fun to spur them on their way. I read everything, but this winter, not so much. Too busy. Which is really sad.
