WHAT A RELIEF! I’m grateful!

I asked for help from the boss to see what was going on with my insurance company. She was wonderful. She did in a few minutes, what I couldn’t do in a week of emails and phone calls. The company replied instantly. Apologizing for the delays, and I would be receiving my payment in a couple of days.

What a relief!

I thanked her and apologized for getting her involved (the company kept insisting they hadn’t received any rates or hours from her) I felt guilty.

I was also cheerful because while I was gone I managed to get a 57 cent raise. imagine my surprise!

i was beginning to panic! My parents were insisting I move back home!

I walked upstairs to start my shift. I saw the football field and wanted to have a temper tantrum! On cash!

I asked one of the managers if I could stay off cash. She said yes! 💕

I was to take Lane 1 orders.

Oh my lanta! Coffee, ice coffee, ice cream and shake plus orders! I hoped I could do it! When I was sick I couldn’t do it! I failed so hard! I couldn’t keep up! I was bitchy and throwing cups!

To my surprise I did very well! Even Annie complimented me on doing my best!

Derp turned to me “not to offend you, Rebecca but I noticed how happier you are”

I stared at him. My eye began to twitch, my smile frozen on my lips as he continued to speak. “Your voice even sounds different it shows how much happier you are”

“Well,” I drawled without humour “that’s because before I was in extreme constant pain”

Derp started to laugh “well I realize that. It’s just so nice to see you so happy it’s so different”

It amazes me how he is the king of observation!
