TRYING TO GET ONLINE

While trying to get online it occurred to me what if the world suddenly went offline. Like in the 70’s or 80s.

No! What if we had to use lan lines!

I was staring in horror at my smartphone! I would have to remember phone numbers again!

That was the first thing I panicked about!

Could be worse!

We could have Skynet! Perhaps Samaritan!

  1. I find it amazing to think how we communicated and made connections in the 70s and 80s when I think about how we communicate now. But then again, I’m equally amazed by how much we still can’t communicate with all the ways we have to communicate these days. BTW I’ve been very busy with work and have not had time to comment on your most of your posts lately.

    1. It is amazing isn’t it. I was telling my niece the other day how I had to remember phone numbers. And good luck getting a hold of mom and dad if I went shopping with my friends. If my parents weren’t home when I called I had to fend for myself!
      My niece was astonished.
      No cellphone meant no ride.
She forgot her friends number so she couldn’t call her to see if it was ok to visit and she didn’t have her phone with her.
Being busy is quite alright. It’s keep one mind occupied from thinking about what is going on in the world. I blog or watch kdramas.
It’s ok not to comment all the time. Taking the time to read or even like a post is wonderful too.
I’m horrible for not commenting every post! 🙁
