I was physically exhausted yesterday. I didn’t even have the energy to take orders. Ugh all the talking! Especially when the customers took forever to order!

Being polite is exhausting as well. I ended up sounded like Ben Stein!

Not even quarter to 11; customers were asking about lunch. “Not till 11 everyday!”

“Well it’s 10 minutes! I want nuggets!”

“Not till 11 we have” I began

then she interrupted me “I want nuggets!”

I raised my voice. Do not interrupt me when I am speaking! “Ma’am! We have chicken muffins or chicken griddle if you want chicken options!”

“No, I will have the BLT without egg!”

“BLT doesn’t come with egg”

“Yes it does. I’m looking at the menu! it says with egg”

“Ma’am just order the BLT! We have two kinds!” I was annoyed now.

I also had to remind other customers how to order. “That was a meal right?”

“If you order by numbers it’s a meal not a sandwich!” I replied. For the millionths time in the order!

“They come with hash browns?” She went on.

“It’s on the screen ma’am”

“Oh well I wasn’t reading the screen!” She replied.

I threw a cup.

“Please read the screen as you order!” I snapped.

“Do you have my drinks?”

“It’s on the screen! Please read the screen!”

By mid afternoon I had informed some customers they were taking too long to order and could they hurry as I was multi tasking.

I didn’t even bother keeping drive thru in order. I was annoyed that I had to work with people who couldn’t multi task!

Ugh maybe it will be better today✌️✌️😂🤦‍♀️
