Ah early morning drama!
Daisy ran into my room meowing. I followed her to the balcony.
To my amusement, Two of the neighborhood cats were sitting on the sidewalk outside my window, staring up at us.
One was Daisy’s best friend and the other Daisy’s doppelgänger.
The doppelgänger never ventured to my balcony before but I guess Daisy’s best friend wanted to share Daisy’s food with her.
I ruined the ambiance I guess.
I shooed Daisy inside so she wouldn’t start anything. I didn’t need a cat fight waking the neighbors. I quickly closed the screen door.
I hurried to get my phone so I could take pictures. I returned and the doppelgänger was still there but the BFF was gone.
“She is probably going to come and have some food” I remarked to Daisy.
Suddenly BFF leapt upon the balcony, stared at me then as I predicted went for Daisy’s food.
Daisy jumped off her cat tree, climbed onto the patio door ledge. She got stuck between the screen door and the glass door. Watching this cat eat her food! I laughed.
After awhile I went back to bed. Daisy ran back into my room, meowing.
I sighed and told her she had to be quieter. The neighbors are sleeping. I followed her back to the balcony door.
Outside was an orange cat now. The grey bengal cat, Daisy’s BFF, doppelgänger all lingering around the courtyard!
“Well Daisy I guess this means you have to be inside for a bit” I laughed.
I laughed harder. “If you weren’t so mean to every cat, you could be hanging out with them! But no! You have to be a bitch! You should be called Regina George!” I pet Daisy. “So no you are not going outside until later!”
I am disappointed my pictures turned out horrible!
